The plan set and the Project Manual completes your set of construction documents. With the Project Manual, you will receive bid forms, construction agreements, specifications and other pertinent documentation. Please see our Project Manual page for more information.

We offer our clients the choice of custom designs or a selection from one of our current Featured Plans. Our Featured Plans are priced at a significant savings over our custom designs and can be modified to better suit your needs. This can be a great way to go if you like the basic plan and have only minor changes in mind to make the home uniquely yours.

Your Investment

Another thing that we want to look at is your investment in the home. First, and perhaps foremost, is the livability of your home. For many people, their home is the single most expensive purchase they will make in their lives. It should live well. This brings up a point that should be considered. Homes, for the most part, are relatively static. Once they are built, they dont change much unless extensive remodeling takes place. On the other hand, people are very dynamic and are in constant change. Advantage of Technology

Finally, we offer several technical advantages that you will find extremely valuable in designing your home and in your search for general contractors and / or subcontractors. With our electronic file transfer capabilities, you can easily communicate with our designers by viewing your preliminary plans with our free electronic viewer, mark-up the plans at your convenience, and transfer them back to us for revision. As a customer, you also have access to our online e-Bid service. At your request, we will upload your construction drawings, project manual and specifications to our e-Bid site. In your Project Manual, you will find an Invitation to Bid. You can send this invitation to local general contractors and / or subcontractors with instructions on how to find and download your construction documents. Your construction documents are available to only those you specify who are then able to submit bids on your project. This will save you time and money in reproduction costs and distribution of your plans.

If you find that some of your contractors dont have access to this technology, we can simply transmit plans to the reproduction company of your choice. They will be able to print as many hard copies of your plans and specs as you require. This way, you are not required to purchase additional blueprints from us and you maintain control over your costs.
