E-BID And Electronic File Transfers
As a customer, you will have proprietary access to the e-Bid
area of our site. At your request, we will upload a package to
the site containing your project drawings, specifications, and
a viewer for your subcontractors and / or customers use in viewing
the drawings. These packages will be password protected and only
the people you want to view the material will have access.
The e-Bid area may be used in many ways, but we developed
this service to assist you during the bidding process. Our Project
Manual has an Invitation to Bid included with the front-end documents.
You may send the Invitation to Bid, with instructions on how
to find and download your package, to your subcontractors for
their use in bidding on the project. Its easy, fast, and saves
you time and money in reproducing and delivering your plans and
specs for bid.
Another way of using our electronic file transfer capability
is during the design process. Through the use of a free viewer,
preliminary drawings may be viewed, printed, electronically marked-up,
shared with your client, etc. and sent back to our designers
for revision. Questions and plan development can be handled without
physical meetings, coordinating schedules, and, again, saving
your most precious resource: Time.
Your Competitive Advantage
The 2001 Census Bureau report on Americans with Disabilities
showed that 19.7% of the US population has some level of disability
and 12.3% of the population has a severe disability, with the
likelihood of disability increasing with age. Of those 15 years
or older, 2.2 million use a wheelchair and another 6.4 million
use some other type of ambulatory aid. These statistics alone
suggest how the addition of our Easy-Access Designs may help
you differentiate your product and give your company the competitive
advantage.
But it is not just persons with disabilities who benefit from
Easy-Access Design. Children and busy adults alike benefit from
the added safety and convenience that Easy-Access Design provides.

As you know, the Project Manual
is a very important component of your Contract Documents. As
a customer, you have access to our templates for your project
specific use, or you may provide us with your own electronic
manual and specs to upload to our e-Bid site. See our Project
Manual page for more details.
